What's New in Cinema and T.V.?

The Cannes Film Festival is right around the corner. This year marks the 78th year of this world famous event.

The festival first was conceived in 1939 to compete with the well-established Venice Film Festival; however, it was not until 1946 that the first International Film Festival in Cannes was held. The festival continues to highlight the best of cinema. This year's festival will be held from May 13 through May 21, 2025.
