About Us
Founded in 1975, the Alliance Française de Frederick (AFF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to promoting the French language and Francophone culture. We rely entirely on a volunteer board and engaged members to bring enriching cultural experiences to Frederick, Maryland. Email us: president@affrederick.org.
The Alliance Française de Frederick offers many opportunities to speak French by attending one of our many events throughout the year, by participating in our informal conversation groups, or by joining our members only French Club du livre.
There is something for everyone, regardless of level!
Cultural events play a pivotal role in celebrating diversity, fostering inclusivity, and promoting understanding among communities. The AFF is dedicated to hosting events that embody the spirit of Francophone culture.
By joining the AFF, you will open the door to a variety of cultural events throughout the year including the Fête de Noël, Galette des Rois, Bastille Day Celebration, and the members only Club du livre.
